When the words “Camaro” and “resto-mod” meet, a good time is pretty much guaranteed. Moreover, throw in a fuel-injected 427 and silky silver-on-black aesthetics, and you end up with a tire-melting, conversation-starting muscle car that everyone will stop to stare at.

However, this sweet 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod’s a complete, road-ready cruiser. In addition, it features choice Chevrolet power, a stout Tremec 5-speed, and a professional restoration that’s been sorted over 5,000 miles of easy living.

STERLING AESTHETICS

The beneficiary of detailed, ground-up restoration. This slick 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod wears a super solid body. In addition, it’s painted a 2-stage Bright Silver. Moreover, that polished pigment looks brilliant under flowing side stripes and a sinister Stinger Stripe. Yet despite its heavily customized appearance, the car’s trim and ornamentation remain a stylish mix of familiar attributes.

Upfront, a billet grille hangs attractively Rally Sport headlights above a body-matched bumper, clear parking lamps, and a custom chin spoiler. However, behind that grille, a shaved header leads the eye to a familiar Stinger Hood, which fronts tinted glass that centers modified frames between a filled cowl, shaved drip rails, and polished stainless wipers.

The sporty F2 mirrors reflect a seamless profile that’s shaved of everything but Ringbrothers door handles. However, opposite those mirrors, a seamless deck filler transitions to a custom spoiler. In addition, on the back of the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod is a second body-matched bumper. Lastly, the bumper guards a custom valence fashioned around billet taillights and polished exhaust tips.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod BIG CHEVY POWER!

Under this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod’s hood, 496 cubic inches of rowdy Chevy big block spins 618 dyno-proven horsepower into 557 lb./ft. of dyno-proven torque. However, at the top of that athletic mill, an iron Dart block, decked, deburred, and externally balanced, is a Billet Specialties Streamline that shrouds a spry throttle body. In addition, this pair feeds a large Holley intake with thick fuel rails.

At the back of that lightweight plane, a hot MSD distributor fires Chevrolet-loomed plug wires. However, above those cables, Edelbrock RPM heads float color-keyed Chevrolet valve covers between Comp pushrods, Crane springs, Comp solid roller lifters, a polished cap, and polished breathers. Furthermore, beneath those covers, a SCAT stroker crank spins in unison with a Comp custom roller cam. In addition, on the sides of that cam, a bundle of Doug’s Headers turns power into a rumble.

Polished serpentine components spin a Stewart water pump between a polished alternator, AC compressor, and modern power steering. In addition, Be Cool radiators use SPAL puller fans in front of ancillaries. Wilwood master cylinder, trick dipsticks, polished brace bars, Fesler hood supports, and Ringbrothers clutch reservoir reveals significant performance.

SPEAKING OF ATHLETIC

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod has a clean modified undercarriage. A Keisler-sourced 11-inch ceramic clutch kicks a Tremec TKO600, which drives a bespoke aluminum driveshaft. This 5-speed works nicely with a posi-traction GM 12-Bolt and 3.73 gears.

This “DSE” pumpkin pushes a Detroit Speed QUADRALink with a hefty sway bar and contemporary coil overs. Upgraded front-clip fluid power steering between a second sway bar, Detroit Speed control arms, and the second pair of coil-overs. Four Wilwood calipers squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors.

Charred dinosaurs traverse large-diameter, Mandrel-bent pipes that span electronic cutouts and Magnaflow mufflers. Boyd’s blades spin 245/45ZR17 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As and 335/30ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As. Solid undercoated floorboards frame stainless fluid lines, tubular subframe connectors, and a stainless petrol tank.
