This historic Chevy has a sturdy, glossy black 2-stage body thanks to a recent ground-up restoration. Slick and deep, this glossy pigment seems ominous thanks to golden blackout elements. However, despite its substantially altered appearance, the car’s trim and decorations are elegant.

A stainless-tinged Rally Sport grille hangs a blackout “SS” symbol between blackout headlights. In addition, a body-matched bumper, LED parking lamps, and a bespoke chin spoiler. However, a Camaro-branded header leads the eye to a ZL2 Cowl Induction Hood. Furthermore, it fronts tinted glass between painted drip rails and stainless wipers. Sporty F2 mirrors display a sculpted profile with only marker lighting and painted door handles.

A unique deck spoiler covers a second body-matched bumper, a second blackout “SS” insignia, and upgraded Rally Sport tail lamps.

Park this panther on a lift and you’ll find a clean undercarriage that, like the car’s polished body, benefits from a roster of desirable modifications. Behind the motor, a Monster triple-disc clutch kicks a Tremec 6-speed, which powers a Ford 9-inch with posi-traction and 3.70 ratios.

However, opposite that clip, a Mustang II front-half hangs power rack-and-pinion steering between a thick sway bar, tubular control arms, and the second pair of Ridetech coil overs. Furthermore, at the corners of that suspension, four Wilwood calipers squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors.

Charred dinosaurs traverse large-diameter pipes, which bark through aggressive Magnaflow mufflers. Power meets the pavement through monochromatic blades, which spin 275/35ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports in front of 345/30ZR19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
